Mortgage Advice Bureau was the big winner at the eleventh Financial Reporter Awards, picking up three awards in addition to founder and CEO, Peter Brodnicki receiving the outstanding achievement award.
Mortgage Advice Bureau, a mortgage intermediary brand picked up the ‘best mortgage protection broker’, ‘best mortgage broker’ and ‘best buy-to-let broker’ awards in the ceremony which was held online this year, due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
Second mortgages and personal loans specialist, Loans Warehouse picked up two gongs for ‘best second charge mortgage broker’ and ‘best unsecured lending broker’.
The award results were based on votes from over 9,000 members of the intermediary community. The awards ceremony was due to take place on 21st May but the announcement was moved online following the Coronavirus pandemic.
Speaking via the Financial Reporter website in April, Andy Shields, director at Barcadia Media, the award’s publisher said, “the fact that we still received such a high number of votes this year, despite the upheaval of the industry’s working lives, is a testament to those who are going above and beyond to keep the market moving in these unprecedented times.”
